The seaward southern facade of the palace, designed in a Moorish style, a bit like the famous Alhambra Palace Arab rulers of Spain in Granada, built in the late 14th century. The frieze deep niches of the facade is repeated six times stylized inscription from the Koran, the motto of the caliphs in Grenada: "Is no victor other than Allah!".
